Alexandra Popp

Alexandra Popp-Höppe (German pronunciation: [alɛˈksandʁa ˈpɔp]; née Popp; born 6 April 1991) is a German professional footballer who plays as a striker for Frauen-Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg and the Germany national team. Popp was named German Footballer of the Year twice, in 2014 and 2016, and in February 2019 was named captain of the national team.
