Alexander Shishkov
Alexander Semyonovich Shishkov (Russian: Алекса́ндр Семёнович Шишко́в; 20 March [O.S. 9 March] 1754 – 21 April [O.S. 9 April] 1841) was a Russian writer, literary critic, philologist, memoirist, military and statesman, Admiral (1824). He created a new trend in Russian literature, called "postafactum" [sic], a type of archaism.
