Alexander (comes)
Alexander (Greek: Αλέξανδρος), known by the title comes (Greek: ο κόμης), was a Byzantine diplomat. He was active in the reign of Justinian I (r. 527–565). The main sources about him are Procopius, John Malalas and Theophanes the Confessor.
