Alex Chalk
Alexander John Gervase Chalk KC (born 8 August 1976) is a British politician and barrister serving as Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice since April 2023. A member of the Conservative Party, he was elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Cheltenham in 2015. Chalk has previously served in other positions in the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Defence, and as Solicitor General for England and Wales.
