Akhaltsikhe Municipality
Akhaltsikhe (Georgian: ახალციხის მუნიციპალიტეტი, Akhaltsikhis munitsip’alit’et’i)) is a municipality in Georgia's southern region of Samtskhe-Javakheti. Covering an area of 1,010.4 km2 (390 sq mi). As of 2021 it had a population of 39,463 people. The city of Akhaltsikhe is its administrative centre.
