Ahmad Ismail (Malaysian politician)

Datuk Ahmad bin Ismail (born 1955), is a Malaysian politician and a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), serving as the chief of UMNO's Bukit Bendera (Penang Hill) division in the state of Penang.

In this Malay name, there is no surname or family name. The name Ismail is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by their given name, Ahmad. The word "bin" or "binti"/"binte" means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
