Aegolius (mythology)

In Greek mythology, Aegolius (Ancient Greek: Αἰγωλιός, romanized: Aigо̄liós) is a Cretan man who attempted to steal from Zeus, the king of gods, and was punished for it. He was transformed into an owl.
