Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader (also known as AR) is a web tool designed to motivate, monitor, and manage students’ independent reading practice in English and Spanish. Students pick a book at their own level and read it at their own pace. When they finish their book, they take a short online quiz to check their understanding. The more difficult the book is, the more points the student receives. Accelerated Reader also tracks a student's progress toward their individualized goals.
