Abu, Yamaguchi

Abu (阿武町, Abu-chō) is a town located in Abu District, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. As of 30 June 2023, the town had an estimated population of 3,054 in 1530 households and a population density of 26 persons per km2. The total area of the town is 115.95 square kilometres (44.77 sq mi). Noted for its wagyu beef and kiwifruit, the town is a member of The Most Beautiful Villages in Japan association.
