Both ALTBalaji and Ekta Kapoor are known for creating sexual content, with most of their content being about sex. Which is not a part of mainstream Indian cinema, and has also been criticized by people for being vulgar and obscene. Most of the female models on ALTBalaji are from Ullu app, they also work there. ALTBalaji is a wholly owned subsidiary of Balaji Telefilms Ltd. ALTBalaji is the group foray into the digital entertainment sphere to create original OTT content.
