The Thunder became the first No. 10 seed to win the NBA's Page-McIntyre system postseason format for the No. 7 to No. 10 seeds, after defeating the No. 9 New Orleans Pelicans, 123–118, but were eliminated in the second stage of the play-in round by the No. 8 seed Minnesota Timberwolves, 120–95.
