The 2022–23 Toronto Maple Leafs season was the franchise's 106th season in the National Hockey League. On March 27, 2023, the Maple Leafs clinched a playoff spot after the Ottawa Senators defeated the Florida Panthers. On April 29, the Maple Leafs won their First Round series against the Tampa Bay Lightning, which was the first playoff series win for the franchise since 2004. In the Second Round, the Maple Leafs lost to the Florida Panthers in five games.
