The 2016–17 Scottish Premiership (known as the Ladbrokes Premiership for sponsorship reasons) was the fourth season of the Scottish Premiership, the highest division of Scottish football. On 2 April 2017, Celtic won their sixth consecutive title and 48th overall after a 5-0 win away to Hearts, with eight matches still to play and would go on to complete the season unbeaten.
