1988 MAC men's basketball tournament

The 1988 MAC men's basketball tournament was held March 8–10 at Centennial Hall in Toledo, Ohio. Top-seeded Eastern Michigan defeated Ohio in the championship game by the score of 94–80 to win their first MAC men's basketball tournament and a bid to the NCAA tournament. There they lost to Pittsburgh in the first round. Grant Long of Eastern Michigan was named the tournament MVP.
