1982 Atlanta Braves season

The 1982 Atlanta Braves season was the club's 17th in Atlanta and its 112th overall. They began the season with a modern Major League Baseball record 13-game winning streak and finished with a record of 89–73 (.549) (the best record in the Torre era). The Braves won the National League West for the first time since 1969 but were swept in three games by the St. Louis Cardinals in the NLCS.
