1979 French Open – Men's singles
Defending champion Björn Borg defeated Víctor Pecci Sr. in the final, 6–3, 6–1, 6–7(6–8), 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 1979 French Open. It was his fourth French Open title and seventh major title overall.
